Incorporating Mental Health Awareness & Interventions into your
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Framework

This presentation will focus on building awareness around the most common mental health challenges that show up in the K-12 school setting including: anxiety, depression, and executive functioning challenges that impact the learning of students on a daily basis. Interventions will be shared to address these mental health challenges within the MTSS framework as well as data tracking and progress monitoring of these interventions. Advanced Tier I PBIS Training
August 7th, 2019 8:30am - 3:30pm
This interactive workshop is designed for schools who have had initial Tier 1 PBIS training and are ready to explore more tools and strategies to support implementation. This session will provide a refresher on key Tier 1 principles and address common pitfalls associated with PBIS implementation and how to address them. Participants will also learn how to use data in systematic ways to enhance Tier 1 implementation.
Participants will walk away with:
The essential components of building up a sustainable Tier I team & Tier I System
Knowledge of the common pitfalls that are encountered when building the Tier I system
Understanding of importance of data collection and progress monitoring within Tier II interventions and resources to do so
Assessment of Fidelity of Implementation within your building at Tier I
PBIS Tier II - 2 Day Training
August 8th - 9th, 2019 8:30am - 3:30pm
This presentation will focus on building awareness around using Restorative Approaches to deliver evidenced-based Tier II Interventions that encompass a trauma-informed lens. In addition to the interventions themselves, attention will be made to the building blocks of Tier II interventions as well as data tracking and progress monitoring of the interventions.

The essential components of building up a sustainable Tier II team & Tier II System
Knowledge of several top Tier II evidenced-based interventions and resources to deliver these interventions
Understanding of importance of data collection and progress monitoring within Tier II interventions and resources to do so
